This webinar will tell you all you need to know about how to try and ensure you succeed at your first Ofsted monitoring visit as a new provider on the Register of Approved Training Providers (ROATP). Key aspects of provision that inspectors will want to get under the skin of in making their judgements about your progress against each of the mandatory themes will be examined. Underpinning this will be guidance on how the focus of these visits has changed since the introduction of the EIF.

  • Some basic facts regarding inspection if you are a new provider nominee who has not undertaken the role previously
  • The framework used by Ofsted to carry out short monitoring visits for new providers
  • What is different about these visits since the introduction of the EIF
  • The crucial role played by the quality of teaching, learning and assessment during your visit
  • What aspects of leadership and management will be most closely examined by inspectors
  • The evidence you will need to able to provide about your safeguarding arrangements to prove you keep your learners safe
