Project Manager, Association of Employment and Learning Providers 

Cheryl has been working with AELP for just over 2 years as a Project Manager working on various projects including Teach Too, Digital Skills and a two year EU funded project providing quality assurance advice and guidance to partners in Cyprus and Poland. Cheryl’s previous experience includes 13 years in the educational sector, working at manager level, at two private training providers and an Awarding Organisation. She has a wealth of experience in the management of Traineeships, Apprenticeships and Employability Skills delivery and is also a qualified tutor, assessor, internal quality assurer and holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Education Studies.

Managing Director, West Yorkshire Learning Providers (WYLP)

Alex has worked in the FE Sector for over 14 years and is Managing Director at West Yorkshire learning Providers (WYLP).

Alex is responsible for managing a network of training providers & colleges across Yorkshire, supporting members through the skills challenges the sector faces and providing on-going advice and guidance on local, regional and national strategic and policy developments. Alex also provides the wider sector with consultancy & support services to meet their business needs, particularly in relation to business development, readiness to deliver, Ofsted preparation, audit & compliance support and levy / non-levy health checks.

Alex is Home office approved to deliver WRAP training and is a member of the national working group for Prevent. Alex is a registered member of the ‘inspiring futures’ and ‘inspiring women’ programme.
