Mike Cox, Webinar Chair

After 13 years in retail purchasing and supply, Mike became an assessor for apprenticeships with TBG Learning in 1999. He soon moved onto various development roles with learndirect, RNID and then LSN where he headed up the bidding and development team, helping design support programmes and research in areas including Train to Gain, Citizenship, Diplomas, Key Skills, Functional Skills and Foundation Learning. He joined AELP in February 2013.

Mike is married with 2 children and lives in rural Kent.




 
 

Kerry Boffey

Adult Learning Improvement Network (ALIN) & Fellowship of Inspection Nominees (FIN)

Kerry has worked in the further education sector for over 20 years and has held a number of management positions. Kerry is well respected for driving innovation and improvements within apprenticeships, adult learning and study programmes including pre-apprenticeship provision. A former inspector of post 16 education on behalf of Ofsted, Kerry now represents AELP and works closely with Ofsted as part of the quality group on how apprenticeships and other training programmes will be inspected and reported upon in the future. Kerry is also the founder and creator of the newly formed Fellowship of Inspection Nominees (FIN).




 
 

Peter Stacey

Adult Learning Improvement Network (ALIN) & Fellowship of Inspection Nominees (FIN)

Peter has a wealth of experience across the further education and skills sector having been a teacher and senior manager for many years with responsibility for colleges, apprenticeships, adult programmes and prison education and training. Peter was a lead inspector for over ten years and also an inspection manager for the North of England. Peter now works as a business improvement adviser for post 14 education and training provision and is the principal improvement advisor for the Adult Learning and Improvement Network (ALIN).
