Overview

We have all been faced with situations where we need to broach a difficult subject with a learner, yet all too often we have had no support in exactly how to go about it sensitively but firmly raising the need for some form of intervention. This webinar will discuss some basic tips and strategies that practitioners can use to ensure that learners can both recognise the need for support and engage with your plan for them.

With contributions from experts in the field of LLDD and Prevent, the webinar will demonstrate both the importance of not ducking awkward conversations, and how to make sure they are constructive and of benefit.

This webinar will give:

  • practitioners confidence in undertaking potentially sensitive conversations with learners and others
  • an overview of case studies in raising support needs related LLDD and Prevent
