This webinar is designed to help participants understand the fundamental aspects of effective observation of learning sessions, i.e. the things that underpin effective observations.
Objectives
Participants should on completion of the webinar, be able to describe and explain:
  • the purpose of learning session observations
  • what observers look for when observing sessions
  • the important difference between competence assessments and learning session observations
  • the importance of observer objectivity
  • preparing for an observation.
