Overview
This is the fourth webinar in the Observation Skills series and is designed to help participants improve their understanding of the fundamentals of post observation dialogue and what effectively managed ones look like.
Objectives
Participants should on completion of the webinar be able to describe and explain:
  • the difference between traditional feedback and feedback dialogue
  • the importance of and how to ensure feedback dialogues are constructive
  • characteristics of a good feedback dialogue
  • the reasons for and against immediate and deferred feedback dialogues
  • how to plan a feedback dialogue session
Who Should Attend
This webinar is designed for novice learning session observers and individuals seeking to become observers. It will also be of use to:
  • staff who have previously been observers, but who have taken time away from the role
  • teaching and training staff so that they better understand what observers are doing and looking
  • for staff aspiring to become or recently promoted Quality Managers, Quality Coordinators, Programme /Curriculum Managers, and Operational Managers.
