Overview
The webinar is designed to help participants develop their understanding of what observation evidence looks like, and ways in which it can be captured.
Objectives
Participants should on completion of the webinar be able to describe and explain:
  • what the term ‘evidence’ means in an observation context – evidence of what?
  • what types of things are regarded as valid observation evidence
  • different ways in which evidence can be gathered
  • techniques for capturing evidence during an observation
  • types of and what well written performance notes look like.
Who Should Attend
This webinar is designed for novice learning session observers and individuals seeking to become observers.

It will also be of use to:
  • staff who have previously been observers, but who have taken time away from the role
  • teaching and training staff so that they better understand what observers are doing and looking
  • for staff aspiring to become or recently promoted Quality Managers, Quality Coordinators, Programme /
  • Curriculum Managers, and Operational Managers.
