This webinar will primarily examine the key apprenticeship subcontracting funding rules and help providers understand how to stay compliant.

The session will look at feedback from both the public accounts committee and the recent education select committee inquires which included recommendations to the ESFA in regards subcontracting and what impact this might mean for future subcontracting arrangements.

Objectives

This webinar will review:

  • the current ESFA subcontracting rules
  • the government's policy position on subcontracting
  • common subcontracting myths and misconceptions
  • what is meant in regards rules on key areas such as the main provider needing to deliver “some of the apprenticeship training and/or on-programme assessment”
  • Ofsted’s current focus on subcontracting through inspection
  • what models and approaches are compliant and what isn’t allowable.
