Nicole has spent most of her professional career managing children and young people’s services with Local Authorities and the Voluntary Sector. With this wealth of experience, she moved into Head of Training role where she led teams of trainers delivering Apprenticeships, Diplomas and Core Skills programmes, training any practitioners who work with children and young people.

Nicole’s specialism is Safeguarding, Leadership, Management and has represented and delivered training for the Local Safeguarding Board’s nationally and undertaken the lead Safeguarding role across all her management roles.

In addition, Nicole has developed and implemented Audit, Policy Development and Safer Staffing supporting organisations to ensure the highest standards of protecting children are reached.

In her spare time Nicole has been a counsellor for Childline and developed Safeguarding programmes which she has developed and delivered to teaching staff in The Gambia over the past 3 years.
