Overview
In May 2017, the way government funds apprenticeships in England is changing. Some employers will contribute to a new apprenticeship levy and will have the opportunity to purchase apprenticeship training from training providers through a digital apprenticeship service. Alternatively, they may deliver the apprenticeship training to their own staff.

Employers that do not use a digital account to pay for apprenticeship training will use apprenticeship training providers that have been successful in a procurement run by the Skills Funding Agency. In the future, employers that do not pay the levy will be able to select training providers through the digital apprenticeship service.

This webinar will cover:
  • the purpose of the new Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers
  • the different application routes
  • what to consider if you are interested in applying
  • the application process
  • next steps after you have submitted your application, and a timeline
  • procurement for the delivery of apprenticeship training to employers that will not use the digital apprenticeship service.
