This webinar will tell you all you need to know about how to try and ensure you succeed at your first Ofsted monitoring visit as a new provider on the Register of Approved Training Providers (ROATP). Key aspects of provision will be examined that inspectors review before making their judgements about your progress against each of the three/four mandatory themes.
Objectives
At the end of this webinar, you will:
- understand the framework used by Ofsted to carry out short monitoring visits for new providers
- appreciate the crucial role played by the quality of teaching, learning and assessment during your monitoring visit
- know what aspects of leadership and management will be most closely examined by inspectors
- understand the evidence you will need to able to provide about your safeguarding arrangements to prove you keep your learners safe.
