Overview

This webinar will examine the mechanics of an Ofsted full inspection, how best to prepare for it and what Richard calls the key ‘game changers’ that will dictate the conclusions arrived at by inspectors about the two most important key judgements, your leadership and management and teaching, learning and assessment. The role played by safeguarding and British values will also be examined.

At the end of this webinar, you will:

  • understand the framework used by Ofsted to carry out full inspections and why the bar has risen for the inspection of apprenticeships
  • know how best to prepare once you receive the notification call from Ofsted for inspection
  • be in possession of lots of handy tips and hints to help you show your best face to the inspectors
  • appreciate the crucial role played by the quality of teaching, learning and assessment during your inspection
  • know what aspects of leadership and management will be most closely examined by inspectors
  • understand what inspectors are looking for when examining safeguarding and the promotion of British Values to apprentices
